The Speedcross

About the Challenge:

The Salomon Speedcross 6 needs no introductions. Staying true to its legendary roots and trail status, this new version is lighter with an even more powerful, grippy connection to the ground and faster mud evacuation, making it the shoe that's bringing speed to the trail.

So, quite fittingly, this Wild Challenge is here to encourage you to hit the trails and hit them fast.

Complete any run (or walk) on any of our 1,440+ trails, and you'll get on the leaderboard. The further you go, the more points you'll get and the higher up the leaderboard you'll find yourself. One for every metre traveled, so we're going to see some huge totals!

Here's where it gets interesting... if you get a personal best (aka Personal FKT) on the trail, you'll double your points for that run! Do you run a trail you've not run before (guaranteed personal best), or do you go guns blazing on your local favourite?

Your run (or walk), must complete a trail from our directory, but if you do more in the same run, you'll get the points for the whole distance of your activity. Nail this 2km trail and then carry on running for another 15km? 17,000 points!

We'll figure out if you've run a personal best using our FKTs which are based on comparing data we receive from your Strava account with our trail directory. This can sometimes take us a day or two to process, so just bear in the mind the leaderboard might take a bit longer than usual to catch up with your adventures. If you don't see your points awarded on the leaderboard, please wait a couple of days, and if it's still not there, get in touch.
